Invited by US Department of Agriculture (USDA) as one of the six committee members to conduct five-year retrospective review for the USDA Agricultural Research Service’s National Program 211 – Water Availability and Watershed Management. Clemson University is one of the four universities to get such invitation.

It was highlighted to demonstrate the type of critical research funded by USDA. “Clemson University is integrating remote sensing products and weather forecast information for farmers and growers to address the best products, increase agricultural drought indices, and develop an agricultural drought forecasting model to provide near real-time feedback.”
